This stunning 1965 Samba Recreation began as an original Type 1 Kombi 15-window and has been masterfully converted into a luxury 23-window Samba configuration.

Mechanical Specs

Engine: Powered by a 1,600cc air-cooled 4-cylinder engine which has been completely rebuilt to factory specifications, it comes with a new single carburetor and an electronic ignition.

Transmission: Original 4-speed manual transmission that has been rebuilt.

Steering: Brand New Steering Roller Box. We have installed this new system to eliminate the characteristic loose steering problem of VW Buses.

Suspension:

The front suspension has been completely rebuilt with an Adjustable Height System, which allows you to adjust the front height of the bus. The rear suspension has been rebuilt according to the original pattern.

Brakes: The brakes have been completely redone with new parts

Gas Tank: The gas tank has a capacity of 13 gallons and uses regular gas.

Electrical System 12V: New taillights, headlights, and battery.
