This beautiful Bus was made in 1968 at the Volkswagen Factory do Brazil, the second biggest VW factory and the most significant production Bus in the world, This is an original Type 1 Kombi 15-window converted to a Luxury Version of 23-Window Samba Recreation with a split windshield also called Safari Windows, two front cabin door windows, six rear side windows, one rear window, and two rear corner windows. In addition, the Samba model featured eight small skylight windows, and the Sliding Ragtop Sunroof, making it the iconic version of 23-Window.

Mechanical Specs

Engine: Powered by a 1,600cc air-cooled 4-cylinder engine which has been completely rebuilt to factory specifications, it comes with a new single carburetor and an electronic ignition.

Transmission: The Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual transmission has been rebuilt.

Steering: Brand New Steering Roller Box. We have installed this new system to eliminate the characteristic loose steering problem of VW Buses.

Suspension:

The front suspension has been completely rebuilt with an Adjustable Height System, which allows you to adjust the front height of the bus. The rear suspension has been rebuilt according to the original pattern.

Brakes: The brakes have been completely redone with new parts

Gas Tank: The gas tank has a capacity of 13 gallons and uses regular gas.

Electrical System 12V: New taillights, headlights, and battery.

INTERIOR FEATURES

The interior has been completely customized with a spacious and versatile design in blue and white eco-leather upholstery, featuring an L-shaped sofa that comfortably seats up to five passengers in the back and three in the front, additionally, the rear bench folds out into a bed for a camping option.
